Join Lesley, Sharon and Oren this winter for a new and incredible immersion series!
This 3 Day immersion is perfect for all yoga students and teachers who want to deepen their practices and dive deep into vigorous Vinyasa workshops, dharma teachings and establish a regular meditation practice.
Each day of the immersion will feature a guest teacher offering a dharma and meditation workshop for 2.5 hours. There will Q&A session with the guest teachers. After a short break, students take a 3 hour Vinyasa workshop with Lesley which will focus on the same spiritual theme, this time taught as an embodied experience through asana practice.

Immersion themes:
January 11 - Connecting the dots between our yoga practice and our lives. Oren Jay Sofer will provide an introduction to heart practices. and meditation. The event will include guided meditation and Q&A, and is appropriate for beginning and experienced students. Lesley will lead a yoga masterclass based on the same theme.
January 25 - Lesley and Sharon Salzberg will lead a journey into The Power of Lovingkindness. Introduction to Metta Practice. (Sharon will join us via Zoom)
February 8 - Oren Jay Sofer will lead a workshop on Forgiveness: Freedom From Bitterness.
Lesley will follow with a yoga masterclass on Forgiveness and Compassion.
Staff bios:
Oren Jay Sofer -Oren has practiced meditation in the Theravada Buddhist tradition since 1997, beginning his studies in Bodh Gaya, India with Anagarika Munindra and Godwin Samararatne. He is a long-time student of Joseph Goldstein, Michele McDonald, and Ajahn Sucitto, and a graduate of the IMS - Spirit Rock Vipasanna Teacher Training. Oren the author of Say What You Mean: A Mindful Approach to Nonviolent Communication, a practical guidebook for having more effective, satisfying conversations. He is also co-author of two books on teaching mindfulness to teens and adolescents: The Mindful Schools Curriculum for Adolescents and Teaching Mindfulness to Empower Teens.
Oren first became interested in contemplative practice in high school, when he picked up a little book called The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff. He went on to complete a degree in Comparative Religion from Columbia University, and later spent two and a half years of living as an Anagarika (renunciate) at branch monasteries in the Ajahn Chah Thai Forest lineage. Sharon Salzberg - Sharon Salzberg is a pioneer in the field of meditation, a world-renowned teacher and NY Times bestselling author.
